NASA Meets SCOTUS

Does NASA have the right to probe medical records, finances and drug history of employees?

Twenty-eight scientists--who work at positions that do not require security clearance--think not. Because of the unclassified nature of their employment, the plaintiffs cite the background checks as an invasion of their personal privacy.

(...)

The controversy began in 2004 when NASA, then under the direction of Michael Griffin, ordered all scientists working at JPL to undergo comprehensive, open-ended background checks — beyond the standard pre-hiring reviews for federal employees — or risk losing their jobs.

The Supreme Court will hear formal arguments today.

Hey Sunny, Know anyone close to the Gelber campaign???

This would be of interest to them. FIRST OF ITS KIND MOTION to delay what is already an unusual settlement with wellcare. WHY is that money going to the justice dept rather than back to the taxpayers?? (back articles state this)
So, since Barry and Eva Braun Bondi are neighbors and he represented her in the infamous katrina dog theft case I kinda think that he's waiting for HER to take office. Gelber's making a mistake if he isn't going after this kind of stuff.

Read this.
Yall want to be sure to know that wellcare OWNER patel also skated away just before the FBI swooped in and this "doctor" is now a beachfront developer in a pissing contest with Don what's his name to own the largest hous in hillsborough. But WAIT. There's more. They also took patel's name OFF the performing arts center rather unceremoniously when straz donated more. When he owned wellcare, patel was splashing his name all over everything. I do not think highly of patel who is obviously a thief w/inside info who took the florida taxpayers. BUT, there's more. He was also the e darling of the 'new' democrats while he owned wellcare. In other words, the corrosive dems such as you know who //// yellow stars and whom are actually MORE GREEN than dem and sinister types when you get right down to it. Anyway... I think that a backdoor deal would certainly disqualify Pam Eva Braun Bondi, neighbor of Barry Cohen. Who may (HOPEFULLY NOT) be florida's next attorney general. Unless he has a backdoor deal with gelber. In which case, that's fine. (j/k)

While those in the space program should all hold a clearance and be checked; Anyone outside of those positions should be treated as anyone else would. yet another way for the government to buffer itself from the rest of the population..

O/T Sunny...
