According to The Swamp:
Madelyn Dunham, 86, was released from the hospital at the end of last week and returned to her home in Honolulu with a health condition the aide described only as "very serious."But Obama's decision to cancel campaign events "underscores the seriousness of the situation," communications director Robert Gibbs told reporters during an evening flight following a campaign event in Orlando.

Obama will continue with scheduled events in Florida this week but, instead of going to Des Moines to campaign on Thursday, he will take a detour to Indianapolis and then head to Hawaii. He plans to spend Thursday and Friday with his grandmother.
Best wishes to the family.

And this is why this man needs to be elected. I see nothing about the campaign being put on hold.. I see nothing about this 'crisis' needing to take priority. He has canceled HIS campaign stops so he can run home and deal with the issues his grandmother is having and he is letting Biden do his thing. This is what in some circles is called a TEAM.. I know I know, Mr. McCain and Ms. Palin don't know what that is.. So if you are reading this M or P,. take some notes...
Best wishes to the family.
He's a mensch!
I've read his grandmother broke her hip.
