As I watched Chris Matthews proclaim Hillary Clinton the 2008 Democratic nominee for President, one of his Hardball panel members made a good point--can Clinton sustain the status of President-in-waiting for almost one year?
Although Matthews seemed confident in his prediction, the others conjured up alternate scenarios, if she wins Iowa, it''s over; if she doesn't win New Hampshire, she's got Iowa and if neither state gives her the red light, once South Carolina is under her belt, she is golden.
I'm a little sick of the press selecting our candidates, so with that said.....
One point made by a Hardballer--Clinton is more popular with young women than older women, citing the "M" word ("the Monica years") and inferring that 50% of women--Clinton's own age group--does not approve of the way she handled that situation during her First Lady White House days.
But does this Rebel with the White Gloves need her peer group to claim the Democratic nomination?
Or will the peer group send a message that Clinton is not the type of candidate to burn your bra over?
See the video here.

I'm with you. Time for a change!
Holy hands on the girls, frog !! That's the funniest pic to go with this post !!!
AMEN. I'm way way sick and tired of the repubs and the laughable current MSM naming our 'front runners'.
President in waiting. LMFAO !!!
That pic is the greatest and intimates so much about the press-Clinton relationship.
The next day, Chris Matthews backed down a bit from his proclamation...he probably received a lot of email over deeming HC the next Prez.
You gotta laugh, Vox... I mean, what's the frigging alternative???
