Republican Obstructionist Tongue Waggers

Pass it on. The Plot to Bury Progress is underfoot.

Republicans will spend their August away from Washington DC with tongues wagging over the Do-Nothing Congress.

The fact is that the Republican use of the filibuster and the Presidential veto to obstruct the wishes of the people will be excluded from the conversations to their constituents.

Obstruction by Veto: How the Right is Obstructing America’s Progress (August 2007) calls out these Republican obstructionist tongue waggers through review of the bills vetoed or threatened with vetoes, thwarting clearly where the Congress and the people are trying to go.

From stem cell research to clean water and renewable energy, these bills show a different priority. The veto threats have been tracked by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office and can be traced at President Bush’s Statements of Administration Policy Index. They indicate the direction the Democratic Party is trying to move the country and the direction pumpkinhead Bush wants us to go.

Jason Alexander as Rovermort-part-Karl Rove, part-Lord Voldemort-has jumped on board to get the word on the Republicans summer vacations plans.

Pass it on.

"The strategy of being obstructionist can work or fail...and so far, it's working for us. Democrats are the ones taking the blame for not getting anything done."
