As mentioned yesterday, Florida state Representative Bob Allen lost a bid for the State Senate in 1992 due to issues of "character and credibility".When this issue came to light, FLORIDA TODAY withdrew their support of Allen based upon his misrepresentations; as well as his refusal to to tell the truth or take responsibility for his actions. This was the first, and only time, in the history of Florida Today that it has withdrawn its endorsement of a political candidate.
October 23, 1992 FLORIDA TODAY ran an editorial was appropriately titled "A Question of Trust: Allen Crossed the Line". After a visit to my local library, I was able to cut and piece said editorial off the good old microfiche machine.
(Please keep in mind-the Frog is not the best image editor, so please feel free to clean up these images for your own use).
Bob Allen is no stranger to Crossing the Line. Read on, Froggers...and share, share, share.

Thank you for your research, Sunny!
You are awesome.
No problem! :)
It appears that Bob Allen has an established pattern and will follow it with his latest "Oral" fixation problem!! Thanks for sharing.
I have heard that he has some "family" connection to the law and will be able to make this whole thing just "go away". What do you think?
I have no doubt this will all go away --that's what politicians do best; however, I do believe the damage has cemented itself forever to his reputation.
I'd love to know who his family connections might be........point me in the right direction?
Bob Allens father-in-law is the now retired attorney Leonard Speilvogel. One of the best known and highly regarded attorneys in Brevard County until, and even after, his retirement. Not only is he one of the best of the best, but he also knows all the others who are the best of the best in the attorney world of Florida and beyond.
Count on it. If Bob pleads "Not Guilty"...and he goes to a trial..he's going to walk. Then he's going to state "I've been exonerated!". Yes, OJ said that, Micheal Jackson said that, and quite a few others along the way have said the same thing.
Other comments insinuate that Bob was going to drop his pants. NO, no!! That isn't what the cops said hsppened. The cop was asked by Bob to drop HIS pants for $20. Bob would perform falacio on the cop. Not a minor detail.
We must wonder how often this activity has already taken place and where.
I'll keep my ears open....thanks...:)
